Summary

The Marketing Interns for Organic Social Media will be fully integrated into the day-to-day activities related to content strategy, ideation, and production. Your efforts will directly impact the company’s social media presence and brand awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a content strategy for the brand, including both long-form and short-form content, with the goal of increasing social media engagement and reach.
  • Manage a content calendar to ensure social media content is scheduled and ready for publication on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with other interns to produce in-house video content for consistent stories and posts.
  • Create engaging captions, copy, and scripts for all types of content.
  • Track and analyze key engagement metrics across all social media platforms and provide weekly reports with insights to optimize the social media strategy.
  • Store photo and video assets in an organized manner and coordinate with the Advertising team for all collaterals to be used in paid ads.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a marketing or related program at an accredited university.
  • Content Creation Skills: Ability to create engaging written and visual content for various social media platforms (portfolio or examples required).
  • Social Media Strategy: Understanding of social media marketing principles and the ability to contribute to content strategy development.
  • Data Analysis: Familiarity with social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to optimize campaigns.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with specific social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop).
  • Demonstrated understanding of SEO principles for social media content.
